You deserve a space for yourself.
Do you feel constantly overwhelmed by the responsibilities of work, family, and caring for others? Are you the one everyone relies on — yet feeling exhausted, stretched thin, and close to burnout? Many women experience this kind of emotional exhaustion in midlife, especially when they’ve spent years putting others first. Maybe you keep telling yourself you’ll focus on self-care “later,” but later never seems to come.

If you’re struggling to put yourself first, I would love to work with you. I offer therapy for women experiencing burnout, chronic stress, and people-pleasing patterns that make it hard to rest or set boundaries. Slowing down can feel scary when you’re used to being the responsible one, but in therapy we can gently create space to clarify your unique needs and values — independent of the demands of others.

You may feel guilty focusing on yourself, but it is possible to care for the people you love while also prioritizing your own wellbeing. Through therapy focused on boundary setting, self-compassion, and clarifying your values, we can work together to help you build boundaries that feel respectful (not selfish) and move toward a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and manageable.

About Me

Hi there! I’m Perry (she/her, they/them), a psychotherapist with years of experience providing therapy for adults struggling to put themselves first. My own life experience includes career change, divorce, grief, and ambiguous loss, which helps me meet my clients with depth, compassion, and shared knowing. I am also an artist, partner, and fiercely loyal friend, who loves roadtrips, great food, and awe-inspiring new experiences.
I pride myself on forming genuine relationships with each of my clients. We will be a good fit if you want a therapist who is active, direct, creative, and invested in your growth. I use humor, metaphor, and my own lived experience to guide you to finding a life that feels good to YOU. My work is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+-affirming, and practice from a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective.
Please reach out for a consultation to see if we'd be a good fit! I can't wait to hear from you.
